Show Me Magazine

Please take time to pick up a December 2012 issue of the Show Me Magazine.
This month features a very nice article about the Historic Powell Bridge.
Along with a nice winter picture.
We have also received word that everything needed from MoDot for the construction of
the new bridge is a go. We are currently waiting for the bids to appear in our newspapers.
Looking forward to possible ground breaking March 2013.

Helping Hand

Members of the Powell Historical Preservation Society went to the New Bethel
School to help with their restoration project. This school was in use from 1915 to 1942, with
two rooms. At the time of closing, it still had all outside facilities.
One histoic group helping with another. This old rock school house
is another of McDonald County's icons to be preserved.
